Projects

Our 90-Day Projects bring together partners, volunteers, and local leaders to quickly respond to emerging needs in Barron County. These short-term, high-impact initiatives — like food redistribution efforts, transitional housing support, or community resource collaborations — allow us to test creative solutions and grow what works.

Every project starts with a single goal: meet people where they are and remove barriers to a better life.

Join us in making a real difference for our neighbors who are struggling. Your time, ideas, and energy can help create lasting impact through projects that bring people together to meet urgent needs in our community.

Centerpoint

Centerpoint is more than just an event. It’s a place of dignity, compassion, and connection. Here, people can access showers, hot meals, childcare, and help connecting to local resources — all in one welcoming space. By bringing multiple services together for a day, we make it easier for individuals and families to focus on what really matters: rebuilding stability and hope.

Feed the Future

No child should face the weekend hungry. Feed the Future is a community-wide effort that raises funds and awareness to support school backpack food programs across Barron County. Through local events like golf tournaments and benefit concerts, we’re helping make sure every child goes home on Friday with enough food to last until Monday morning — fueling their health, learning, and confidence.

Every day, good food goes to waste while families struggle to put meals on the table. CCP’s Food Recovery program bridges that gap by collecting surplus food from grocery stores, restaurants, and producers — and redirecting it to local families in need. It’s a simple idea with powerful impact: reducing waste, feeding neighbors, and strengthening community connections one meal at a time.

Loads of Love

Something as simple as clean clothes can restore confidence and dignity. Loads of Love offers free laundry days for community members who need a helping hand — providing quarters, detergent, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s more than laundry; it’s care, conversation, and compassion, reminding everyone that they are seen, valued, and supported.
